And now the BIG "unofficial" show!

The fireworks were ALL over the city...
Words cannot adequately describe this experience. It was so loud - just imagine a city of 11 million people shooting fireworks (in the streets, off balconies, in apartment complexes... anywhere with a flat surface there were fireworks going off!).
Everywhere you looked the sky was covered for at least 3 hours!
When we finally fell asleep last night we were then woken up this morning by fireworks!
All. Night. Long.
